Sam Glick is a Senior Economist at the Center for Business and Economic Research. He earned undergraduate degrees in economics and applied mathematics from Elon University in 2019. He completed his PhD in economics at the University of Kentucky in 2024. Prior to joining CBER, Sam was a research economist at the Census Bureau. There, he was responsible for evaluating the efficacy of federal assistance programs and building progress reporting tools on the decennial census for Bureau leadership.

Sam conducts research on higher education and labor market outcomes. His research interests include the returns to education, the economic development of Kentucky, and the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market and the economy.
